60 Asterians joined the effort to clean up Canolly Canal.
Proving that no task is impossible, 60 Aster Volunteers worked hard over a period of 10 days, to help clean up the public eyesore and health hazard that Canolly Canal had become. It was no easy task though, removing solid waste including liquor bottles, plastic bottles, footwear, plastic bags and waste from animal slaughter to name just a few of the things that made up the rubbish heap. But when the going gets tough, Asterians get going and by the end of the joint effort, Canolly Canal could breathe easy again and was a sight to behold too.
