Lives Impacted: NA

Aster Volunteers Mobile Medical Services (AVMMS) has proudly launched its 67th Mobile Medical Unit, set to deliver free healthcare services to marginalized and remote communities in the Republic of Chad. The flag-off ceremony was led by Dr. Azad Moopen, Founder Chairman of Aster DM Healthcare, alongside H.E. Oumar Teguen Idibei Berde, Ambassador of the Republic of Chad to the UAE; and Mr. Yousif Mohammed Elnour Shata, Adviser to the Health Minister, Ministry of Health, Chad. The event was also attended by the delegates of Ministry of Health-Chad and senior leadership from Aster DM Healthcare. Powered by solar energy, the new mobile medical unit is equipped with IoT-integrated telehealth capabilities, consultation rooms, diagnostic facilities, medicine dispensing services, and health education spaces to deliver seamless care on the move. The Mobile Medical Unit strengthens Chad’s primary healthcare infrastructure and extends essential medical services directly to underserved communities, ensuring equitable access to quality care. With this milestone, Aster Volunteers reaffirms its mission of delivering “Care Beyond Boundaries,” reaching millions across India, the Middle East, and Africa through its growing fleet of mobile clinics and comprehensive integrated healthcare ecosystem.
