Aster Volunteers expands mobile healthcare reach to 76 units globally. Aster Volunteers, the global CSR arm of Aster DM Healthcare, has launched 5 new Mobile Medical Units across Ranchi, Kanpur, Bhopal, Jaipur, and Bhubaneswar - taking the total fleet to 76 globally and 54 in India. These units will deliver free primary care, NCD screening, maternal & child health services, and health education - reaching urban poor, street dwellers, elderly, and underserved communities at their doorstep. In partnership with Thanal and Malabar Gold & Diamonds Charitable Trust, this initiative reinforces a shared commitment to last-mile, accessible healthcare. As emphasized by Dr. Azad Moopen Founder Chairman, Aster DM Healthcare, these units represent a step toward equitable healthcare for all.
Poornima is a senior executive who has been following the various events conducted by Aster Volunteers closely and hoping that the platform would open up to external volunteers from outside of the Aster organisation.
