STORIES OF HUMANITY

Sustainable Livelihood of Soap-making to Underprivileged Women

Lives Impacted: 20

Aster Volunteers lent a helping hand to a group of ambitious women. They started off on a journey of creating one’s own identity and being financially independent through a sustainable livelihood of soap-making. They were trained under Aster MIMS charitable trust and now they are making soaps at home and supplying to the customers. The sparkle in their eyes as they talk about their business says a lot about what women can be when nudged in the right direction.
