Lives Impacted: 12714

On the occasion of World Diabetes Day, Aster DM Healthcare organized the largest free diabetes screening camp for low-income workers on 19th November 2022 in Dubai. The screening camp successfully tested 12,714 residents from Dubai’s DIP area to create a new Guinness World Records title for breaking the record for the most pre-diabetes/diabetes screening forms completed in 24 hours. At a special event, an official from the Guinness World Records presented the certificate to Dr. Azad Moopen, Founder Chairman, and Managing Director of Aster DM Healthcare. Not just the screening but the camp also provided education on detecting the early symptoms of diabetes and medical guidance for those who were already detected as diabetic.
