Aster Green Choice Initiative on 36th Foundation Day
To commemorate the 36th Foundation Day of Aster DM Healthcare, Aster Volunteers took several green initiatives to weave a greener and more sustainable planet for coming generations. Aster Volunteers UAE in association with Emirates Environmental Group organized a tree plantation drive at Ras Al Khaimah Dubai. Over 350 Asterians from different units participated in the drive to plant 500 Sidr saplings in the nature reserve. In three years, these Sidr plants will battle the rising global climate conditions by reducing the emission of Co2 by 2.95 MT annually. In India, Aster Volunteers celebrated the occasion by sowing the seeds of a healthier tomorrow by planting 1509 trees across the nation.

<p>Sarfras Navas was involved with distributing of food kits and a blood donation camp in Rashidiya. He expressed satisfaction in lending helping hand and in turn, being a hero to someone in times of need. He is also grateful for meeting people he would not have gotten the chance to interact with, if not for the volunteering experience.</p>
