STORIES OF HUMANITY

Desert Clean Up Drive 2023

Lives Impacted: 170 + Volunteers participated

Around half of the camels in UAE deserts are dying due to the ingestion of plastic that amassed over time in their digestive tracts. To overcome that, as a part of the Kindness is a Habit campaign, Aster Volunteers UAE partnered with Abu Dhabi 4*4 to initiate the third edition of the Desert Clean Up drive at Al Madam super bowl areas, Sharjah. Over 170 internal and external volunteers gathered to collect the littered plastic waste and keep the desert clean. The collected waste was handed over to Beeah Tabdeef, a sustainable waste management company. Let's continue our efforts to make the earth sustainable for future generations.
