Aster Volunteers Smile 5.0
As an early part of Eid celebrations, Aster Volunteers UAE, in partnership with Landmark Group, hosted Smile 5.0 at the MAX outlet in Oasis Mall, Sheikh Zayed Road, Dubai. We took over 140+ underprivileged children, facilitated by the Emirates Red Crescent to shopping. The children were able to lay their hands on new clothes, toys, footwear, and other items of their choice. The event also entertaining with face painting and game activities at ‘Fun City’. We had the pleasure of seeing many smiling faces before the children left. All the lucky children will celebrate EID with the dresses & toys gifted by Aster volunteers. The event was made possible by Landmark Group’s generous offer of a 150 AED discount on each bill. Each child has received clothes worth AED 300. Special thanks to all the officials, volunteers, and Emirates Red Crescent team who joined us to make the event successful. We also thank Tiana’s Art for providing face painting services and Emirates Red Crescent UAE for helping us identify eligible children.
