Under the Aster Green Choices Initiative, Aster Volunteers recently conducted a tree plantation drive at Ras Al Khaimah, UAE in association with Emirates Environment Group (EEG). 300 Asterians along with external volunteers from AKCAF Events came together to plant 1,000 saplings. In the next 3 years, the saplings planted will help mitigate 6 MT of CO2e emissions, increase carbon sinks and sustain bee habitats. The program was graced by Ms. Habiba Al Mar’ashi, Co-Founder & Chairperson, Emirates Environmental Group along with the leadership team of Aster DM Healthcare and Aster Volunteers.
