Desert Clean Up Drive 2024

Plastic waste has been a pressing problem in deserts, proving to be hazardous to the entire ecosystem. As a part of the Green Choices campaign, Aster Volunteers UAE has partnered with Abu Dhabi 4x4 have conducted a Desert Cleanup drive at Al Madam Super Bowl Area, Sharjah. Over 150 internal and external volunteers, some of them driving their 4x4 vehicles to the venue, spent a productive yet fun morning in the desert, collecting plastic waste and taking responsible action to keep the desert clean. The collected waste was then handed over to BEEAH Tandeef, a sustainable waste management company. We express our heartfelt gratitude to all the volunteers from Aster and Medcare Hospitals UAE for making the cleanup drive a successful event, and for assisting us in our ongoing efforts to make a greener Earth for future generations.
