Mega Blood Donation Drive 2024
As part of World Blood Donors Day 2024, Aster Volunteers UAE organized a mega blood donation drive in association with Dubai Health Authority (DHA) at Blood Donation Centre, Dubai. Internal as well as external volunteers who have registered through the Aster Volunteers Blood Donors Forum joined together and made the blood donation drive a huge success. Out of the 208 people who had registered, 179 were able to donate their blood and 26 had donated exclusively platelets. DHA was overwhelmed that we exceeded their target of 150 donors. This would not have been possible without the support of our Aster Volunteers UAE leaders and our volunteers. We extend our heartfelt gratitude to all the volunteers who donated blood for saving many lives, and made this achievement possible.
