On the occasion of Emirati Women's Day 2024, Aster Volunteers, partnered with the Dubai Foundation for Women & Children (DFWAC) hosted the second edition of “Noor – Dreams Empowered” at DFWAC's Al Warsan facility. The event focused on health, well-being, empowerment, and recognizing 126 Emirati staff members of DFWAC. The inauguration ceremony saw the participation of Senior Leaders from Aster DM Healthcare and DFWAC along with Ms. Habiba Al Marashi, President of Arabia CSR Network & Co-Founder, Treasurer and Vice Chair of the Emirates Green Building Council, who addressed the audience on the critical role played by women in shaping the future of UAE. The event began with a preventive medical screening and check-up session provided by the Aster Volunteers Mobile Medical Service. Noor 2024 offered comprehensive medical check-ups, including gynaecological and general consultations, health awareness sessions, Basic Life Support (BLS) awareness training, and first aid training for DFWAC staff. Aster Volunteers, in collaboration with DFWAC, was proud to facilitate this platform to highlight the significant contributions of Emirati women leaders.
