Sishna Anand The Helen Keller of Kannur

Lives Impacted:

Helping Empower Our Very Own Hellen Keller.

Born prematurely, Ms Sishna Anand aka the Hellen Keller of Kannur, was from birth denied the gifts of vision, hearing, and speech that we all take for granted.

But that didn’t stop Sishna from completing her education and vocational training with the help of Power Braille.

What’s even more heartening is that she plans to pursue higher studies. To help her achieve her dreams, Aster Volunteers provided her with an advanced Power Braille device, given to her at a special ceremony, by none other than Shrimati KK Shailaja Teacher, the Minister of Health.
