In the wake of destruction left by the Kerala floods, one of its many severely affected victims was Rajan the barber from Thuravankara, Angamaly, whose shop was ravaged by the raging waters.
The Aster Volunteers heard of his story as they were conducting their relief efforts. We helped restore and rebuild his damaged shop and brought him new equipment to ensure that he is not left without any means to earn a living.
